Millions of children in India are deprived of a safe and nurturing childhood due to poverty, labor, neglect, or limited access to education. Prajnanam Education Council’s Childhood Rescue initiative is dedicated to restoring their right to learn, grow, and dream.
Through this program, PEC identifies vulnerable children and supports their transition into secure educational environments where they can rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
Childhood Rescue focuses on providing rescued children with access to structured education, proper nutrition, emotional support, and mentorship.
Our approach recognizes that children who have experienced hardship require more than academic learning. They need guidance, encouragement, and opportunities to regain confidence and rediscover their potential. Through carefully designed learning environments, children are supported in overcoming past challenges while developing the skills necessary for a brighter future.
PEC works in collaboration with local authorities, social organizations, educators, and community members to ensure that each child receives long-term support. Teachers, counsellors, and trained volunteers help create individualized learning pathways that address both educational needs and emotional well-being. This collaborative effort helps children reintegrate into learning systems while ensuring continuous monitoring of their progress.
Beyond rehabilitation, the initiative emphasizes life-skills education, cultural activities, and character development. These experiences help children reconnect with their identity, build resilience, and develop a sense of belonging.
