The journey of Prajnanam Education Council (PEC) began with a clear and purposeful vision—to contribute to the transformation of India’s educational landscape through learning that nurtures knowledge, character, and cultural awareness. Established as a Section 8 not-for-profit organization, PEC was founded on the belief that education must extend beyond academic instruction to support the intellectual, ethical, and personal development of every learner.
From its early beginnings, PEC sought to reconnect education with India’s rich civilizational heritage while embracing the possibilities of modern learning practices. What started as a thoughtful initiative gradually evolved into a broader effort to create institutions and programs that balance knowledge with wisdom, innovation with values, and individual growth with social responsibility.
A significant milestone in this journey was the establishment of Pragyanam Kids – The Vedic Preschool, an initiative that demonstrated how early childhood education can integrate cultural wisdom with contemporary pedagogy. This step laid the foundation for PEC’s vision of developing a wider educational ecosystem that nurtures learners from the earliest years of learning.
Over time, PEC’s journey has expanded beyond early childhood education to include teacher development initiatives, educational innovation, and community engagement programs. Each stage of growth reflects the organization’s continued commitment to inclusive education and meaningful learning opportunities.
Today, Prajnanam Education Council continues to evolve through collaboration, dedication, and a shared sense of purpose—working to create educational pathways that nurture responsible individuals and contribute to a progressive and culturally enriched society.
